Job summary

Horry County is seeking a supervisor for After School Care Children's Programs under the Recreation Department. You will oversee activities for children aged 5-12, assist with games and events, and ensure safe playing surfaces and prepared programs.

The role requires administering first aid, enforcing district rules, and providing assistance as needed to maintain smooth operation of county-wide recreation activities.

Qualifications

• Must have considerable knowledge of preparing and assisting with recreational programs, athletic activities and coordinating of recreational facilities.
• Must be able to pass the pre-employment background check and physical.

Responsibilities

• Supervise After School Care Children's Programs.
• Oversee, organize, and plan activities for children ages 5-12 years.
• Assist with games, special events, and programs under the countywide Recreation Department Program.
• Ensure playing surfaces are clear and safe and programs are prepared for the activity.
• Administer general First Aid.
• Enforce and interpret rules and regulations in designated recreation districts.
• Provide assistance as necessary.
