Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a supervisor to lead a team of direct care professionals and volunteers for child/youth programs. The role involves conducting program evaluations, implementing corrective actions, and acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

Ideal candidates have experience supervising caregivers, strong verbal communication, and the ability to work indoors or outdoors, with required immunization and background checks as part of the obligations.

Qualifications

• Six months experience supervising or leading caregivers within child/youth facility-based programs.
• Experience managing in a classroom setting within child and youth programs.
• Demonstrated verbal communication skills gained through training, presenting, or meetings.
• Duties may involve working indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Supervises an assigned team of up to twelve ratios children/youth comprising direct care staff and volunteers.
• Conducts and reviews program evaluations of classroom and activity areas and implements corrective actions.
• May serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director.
• Works with Training Specialist to observe staff and evaluate performance.
• Resolves personnel complaints and promotes safety, fitness, health, and nutrition practices.
