Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a dedicated team leader to guide the Child and Youth Services program, delivering developmentally appropriate care and instruction for children from 6 weeks to 18 years old. You will lead staff, plan activities, and ensure program quality aligned with children's needs.

Responsibilities include training staff, creating lesson plans, maintaining health and safety standards, and supervising youth in classroom and outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Resumes must be two pages (or less).
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• This position has regular contact with children under 18; background checks are required.
• Immunization requirements and current CPR/First Aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a team leader ensuring developmental care and instruction for children and youth aged 6 weeks to 18 years.
• Implements developmentally appropriate programs to promote growth across social, emotional, physical and cognitive domains.
• Instructs team members, provides written instructions and supplies.
• Develops and implements age-appropriate lesson plans and activities based on observed needs.
• Ensures health and safety standards, including hygiene, food service, safe sleep and immunizations.
