Job summary

Boys- is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead staff, design and deliver developmentally appropriate programs, and promote positive youth outcomes in a safe, engaging environment. This role requires coaching staff, planning activities, and ensuring adherence to safety and behavioral standards.

The position emphasizes trauma-informed approaches, inclusive practices, and strong communication with youth, families, and leadership to support daily operations and program quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising staff and school-age youth in a group setting.
• Demonstrated competence working with youth.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting youth with diverse needs, including those requiring behavioral or social-emotional support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant systems.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active automobile insurance required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 20 lbs and extended periods of standing or sitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold program staff and volunteers accountable for performance, engagement, and youth safety.
• Provide daily direction, coaching, and feedback to staff in assigned program areas.
• Plan, implement, and supervise engaging, age-appropriate programs aligned with organizational strategy.
• Ensure program activities are purposeful, structured, and responsive to youth needs.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with members to promote belonging and participation.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment; ensure safety policies are followed.
• Track attendance and program data; support documentation related to grants and outcomes.
• Communicate program needs and outcomes to leadership and oversee athletic programming.
