Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta in Newnan, GA is seeking a Program Specialist to plan, promote and implement youth programs across core areas, including Teen Services and Learning Center activities. You will work with staff and volunteers to organize programs, monitor quality, and maintain clear attendance records.

Qualifications

• Combined experience and/or formal training equivalent to a minimum of three years working with youth.
• Experience teaching youth and creating engaging learning experiences.
• Ability to plan and implement quality learning programs for youth.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
• Develops and posts weekly and monthly program plans.
• Monitors safety and quality of programs.
• Supervises volunteers and program assistants.
• Maintains records to track attendance and participation.
• Participates in weekly staff meetings.
• May drive the club van as needed.
