Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with youth and knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to plan and implement quality learning programs for youth.

Responsibilities

• Creates an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
• Promotes and stimulates daily learning center program participation.
• Orients new members to learning center program, events, and safety rules.
• Provides guidance and role modeling to members.
• Implements, monitors and evaluates programs and activities for members.
• Develops and posts weekly and monthly program plans.
• Monitors safety and quality of programs.
• Keeps supply room neat and orderly.
• Participates in weekly club staff meetings.
• Monitors supply needs and orders within budget.
• Maintains bulletin boards and notices.
• Assists with repairs to facility/equipment as needed.
• Drives the club van as directed.
• Participates in training opportunities to expand knowledge.
