Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta seeks a youth Programs Associate to plan, promote, implement and evaluate teen programs under the supervision of the Program Director. The role focuses on fostering Youth Development Outcomes, engaging teens in transformative activities, and ensuring programs align with our values and safety standards.

Responsibilities include orienting new members, supervising volunteers, tracking attendance, and coordinating events and field trips.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years experience with teens and knowledge of youth development.
• Formal training, knowledge and/or experience in programming for teen interest and participation.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
• Promote and stimulate daily teen programs participation as well as participation in designated national and special events programs; ensure activities align with organizational values and safety standards.
• Orient new members to teen programs, special events and rules including club safety and dress code.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members, including adherence to dress code.
