Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica (SMBGC) is seeking a Site Coordinator for the JAMS Club to support operations, safety, and outreach. You will drive programming, manage enrollment, and coordinate special events to create engaging experiences for youth.

The role emphasizes strong administrative skills, leadership, and collaboration with families, schools, and partners to empower youth development and attendance growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in Education/Social Work or youth-serving nonprofits.
• At least 2 years in youth development or out-of-school-time programming.
• At least 1 year of staff supervision and training.
• Understanding of safety protocols when working with youth.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Guides Site Operations and safety for AM Club programming, intersession days, and events.
• Collaborates with Club Director and PM Site Coordinator as a key leader at the JAMS Club.
• Enforces all safety policies and emergency procedures per guidelines.
• Maintains a clean, welcoming environment and manages opening/closing procedures.
• Guides outreach and enrollment by modeling excellent customer service with families and partners.
• Trains staff using a train-the-trainer model on curriculum facilitation and trauma-informed practices.
• Oversees enrollment, member records, and data for reporting.
• Supports program and event coordination, including field trips and special events.
• Assists with grant compliance, data entry, and reporting.
