Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica (SMBGC) is seeking a part-time Site Coordinator to support operations, safety, and outreach at a SMBGC site. The role focuses on engaging families, schools, and partners, coordinating programming, and leading events that enrich club members’ experiences.

On-site role with school-year and summer programming. The Site Coordinator will work closely with the Club Director, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure safe, engaging environments for middle school

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in youth development or related nonprofit leadership.
• At least 1 year of staff supervision, onboarding or training.
• Experience with safety protocols for youth in education/after-school settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps, databases, case management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and presence at Lincoln Middle School as a key leader.
• Enforce safety policies and emergency procedures per guidelines.
• Maintain organized, welcoming environment; manage opening/closing; coordinate facilities needs.
• Train staff using a trainer model on curriculum facilitation and SEL practices.
• Oversee enrollment, maintain member records, and track participation data.
• Support youth impact measurement using surveys and My Club Hub database.
• Organize and lead events and field trips to create enriching experiences.
