Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children or youth programs is preferred.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact person for parents, staff, teachers, and principals at the BGCME site.
• Provide crisis response and relay messages to the Area Director as needed.
• Prepare correspondence and reports; maintain schedules and files.
• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate activities such as Power Hour, Project Learn, Torch Club, Smart Moves, and Triple Play.
• Monitor staff attendance and transmit attendance data to the Programs Director.
• Promote program participation and create an engaging youth development environment.
• Register new members and support orientation; provide guidance and role modeling.
• Perform secretarial duties, proofread materials, and manage site communications.
• Ensure safety and quality of programs; participate in weekly staff meetings.
