Job summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay is seeking a Youth Development Professional at DeSoto Elementary School in Tampa, FL. Under the Club Director, you will plan, implement, and supervise activities aligned with Academic Success, Character & Leadership, and Health & Wellness.

This part-time, hourly role offers training and growth opportunities while you serve as a positive role model to our youth in a dynamic after-school program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have basic computer knowledge and skills.
• CPR training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth in fun activities and projects.
• Support young people with the factors affecting their lives.
• Teach self-confidence and self-awareness while building positive relationships.
• Provide structure and be a positive role model for club members.
• Under the Club Director, supervise activities with creativity and imagination.
• Complete required DCF training within the allotted time.
• Carry out daily food program duties including receipt, temperature documentation, meal distribution and cleanup.
• Familiarize with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay mission and policies.
