Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay in Holiday, FL is seeking a part-time Teacher to manage and deliver youth development programs within the Academic Success Initiative.

You will plan and implement education programs aligned with state standards, supervise tutoring sessions, and communicate with schools to maintain Student Learning Plans while upholding club policies and promoting inclusive instruction.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited four-year university or college in education. Florida Teacher Certificate required.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to work collaboratively with partners and schools.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay mission and nonprofit practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful operations of services, focused on academic enrichment and remedial education.
• Plan and implement education programs, activities and services meeting Sunshine State Standards; develop gender-inclusive programs.
• Monitor tutoring sessions in line with Student Learning Plans (SLP) and ensure policy adherence.
• Communicate and enforce organizational policies and provide administrative/logistical support.
• Perform diagnostic evaluation of participating youth.
• Complete Student Learning Plans and coordinate with schools regarding performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
