Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of Tampa Bay Inc is seeking a Part-Time Senior Youth Development Professional in Pinellas Park, FL, to plan and lead activities that promote belonging and academic, health, life skills, and workforce readiness.

Under the Club Director, you will mentor youth, manage membership data in My ClubHub, support a positive environment, and coordinate with staff across facilities. Weekend hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 2-3 years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Clubs or similar organization preferred.
• Staff Member in Charge (SMIC) credentials or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and insured to drive (minimum age 21).
• Complete the required 40 hours of DCF training within one year of employment, including first 90 days and all in-person exams.
• Successfully complete organization sponsored CPR training within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model the mission and values of the organization and non-profit practices.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and team activity; support a productive work environment.
• Excel in customer service to effectively communicate with members, staff, and visitors.
• Assist staff and may work weekends or extended hours for events or other Club locations.
• Maintain daily contact with Club Director, staff, members, and families.
• Prioritize member safety and collaborate to create a positive environment with respectful communication.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities; foster a sense of community and belonging.
• Data entry and updates in My ClubHub; manage sign-in/out processes with parent verification.
