Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay seeks a part-time Teacher to manage and deliver youth development programming within the Academic Success Initiative. You will ensure activities meet Sunshine State Standards and collaborate with schools to advance student learning.

Responsibilities include supervising tutoring sessions, developing inclusive curricula, completing Student Learning Plans, and coordinating with Club staff and external partners to maintain high-quality program delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited four-year university or college in education.
• State of Florida Teacher Certificate required.
• 3–5 years teaching experience.
• Must work well with partners and schools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic enrichment and remedial education services.
• Develop and implement education programs aligned to Sunshine State Standards.
• Monitor tutoring sessions to ensure Student Learning Plans are followed.
• Communicate organizational policies and provide administrative support for programs.
• Complete Student Learning Plans and coordinate with schools regarding performance.
• Travel to multiple Club facilities may be required.
