Job summary

ROOTS Teen Center is seeking a part-time Program Manager to lead youth initiatives, supervise staff, and oversee Drop-in Center and Seed Dreams. The role emphasizes PYD, trauma-informed practices, and youth-led programming, with a flexible after-school schedule and occasional weekends.

The position reports to the Executive Director and offers 15 hours per week at $22/hour. It focuses on community engagement, program administration, and partnerships with local schools and organizations.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing youth programs and supervising staff/volunteers.
• Strong understanding of PYD and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to balance three program pillars within a 15-hour week.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Youth Engagement Coordinator and provide coaching.
• Align coaching, workshops, and mentor-mentee matches with PYD standards.
• Coordinate drop-in program operations, safety, and activities.
• Build partnerships with schools, businesses, and community groups.
• Track attendance, demographics, and program outcomes.
