Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 48 college credits or pass equivalency exam required.
• 1+ years of relevant youth work experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Proficiency in basic office technology and program-related tools (e.g., email, attendance systems, learning platforms).
• Ability to understand and comply with organizational policies, safety procedures, and laws.

Responsibilities

• Support successful youth programming across Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
• Assist members with homework and academic support.
• Build supportive relationships with youth and model positive behavior.
• Promote a safe, inclusive environment and safe passage during activities.
• Plan and lead activities; create lesson plans with the Site Coordinator.
• Maintain supervision and ensure safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory trainings; support events and reporting.
• Communicate with parents, guardians, school staff, and partners.
• Maintain equipment, spaces, and supplies; support a productive work environment.
