Job summary

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF WHITTIER INC is seeking a dedicated program supervisor to oversee staff, plan and implement youth programs, and coordinate with school partners.

This on-site role requires strong supervision, effective communication with youth and guardians, and adherence to grant requirements, including daily attendance targets and regular reporting.

You will lead lesson planning, supervise volunteers, and ensure safety and program quality in a dynamic club setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 48 College credits or pass equivalency exam.
• 1+ years of relevant experience working with children and/or youth in an educational, recreational, or youth development setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of members at all times in a club environment.
• Lead program planning and implementation and coordinate with school staff.
• Interact with guardians/parents and handle questions or concerns.
• Maintain attendance and enrollment reports and meet grant requirements.
• Attend required meetings and lead staff during lesson planning sessions.
• Evaluate staff performance and coordinate with Area Director/Program Supervisor.
