Job summary

Boys and Girls Club Whittier / Pico Rivera is seeking a part-time employee to support daily activities and behavior plans for youth ages 6–18 in a club setting. You will observe, document, and help implement intervention strategies across program areas.

The role emphasizes PBIS, confidentiality, and collaboration with site staff. Prior experience with children and strong communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 48 college credits or pass equivalency exam.
• 1+ year of experience with children/youth in educational, recreational, or youth development settings.

Responsibilities

• Support daily activities and individualized behavior plans across program areas.
• Observe and document youth behavior to support interventions.
• Use PBIS strategies to reinforce positive behaviors.
• Assist with managing behavioral challenges, including conflict resolution.
• Establish clear expectations and reinforce program rules.
• Maintain communication with Site Facilitator regarding youth progress.
