Job summary

Bgcaz in Phoenix, Arizona seeks a Youth Development Specialist to plan, implement, coordinate and supervise programs for youth and teens, ensuring engaging, safe activities across club areas.

The role includes leading programs (arts, gym), managing calendars and lesson plans, transporting youth, maintaining documentation, and supporting the Federal Food program as directed while upholding strong member and family relations.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required within 90 days of employment.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates programming in various areas of the Club (arts, gym, etc)
• Manages administrative duties to include: calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking
• Transports youth and/or teens to various club location via BGCMP vehicles
• Ensures the safety of all members and ensures proper documentation is completed
• Assists with Federal Food program as directed
