The City of Raleigh Parks School-Based Programs Division seeks an Abbotts Creek School-Based Programs Coordinator to oversee before-school, after-school, and track-out programs for ages 5–12. You will lead activity planning, support a team of staff, and foster connections with families, schools, and community centers to provide safe, high-quality childcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Leisure Activities, Physical Education, Sports/Athletics, Therapeutic Recreation or related field; 1 to 3 years’ experience in recreation program/activity and/or special event implementation, marketing, coordinating, or related work
• OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted

Responsibilities

• Oversee before-school, after-school, and track-out programs serving youth ages 5–12.
• Lead activity planning and support a team of staff.
• Build relationships with families, schools, and community center teams.
• Design engaging, memorable experiences that ensure safe, high-quality childcare.
