Church Childcare Center in Walkertown, NC is seeking a School Age Coordinator to plan engaging activities, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and support development across academic, social, emotional, and physical domains. This role covers before-school, after-school, and summer camp programs while upholding center standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or higher; related degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
• BSAC training, CPR and First Aid certification and other required DCDEE training desired.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement age-appropriate weekly lesson plans and engaging activities for school age children.
• Provide homework assistance, independent learning, and social development support.
• Maintain safe, inclusive, structured routines and positive behavior management; ensure supervision and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians and administration; participate in training and quality improvement activities.
• Perform additional duties to support center operations.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
