Houston Racquet Club is seeking a dedicated Youth Activities Supervisor Lead to oversee Kids Club and youth programs. The role focuses on guiding attendants, ensuring safety, and delivering engaging activities for members and their children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, coworkers and management; read and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct Youth & Kids Club Attendants; assign tasks and report concerns to the Director.
• Support staff schedules, attendance and timekeeping; report shortages.
• Oversee check-in/out, attendance records and authorized pickups.
• Supervise children per ratios; ensure release only to authorized individuals.
• Lead age-appropriate activities and assist with weekly programming.
• Assist with events (birthdays, camps, holiday activities) and setup/cleanup.
• Communicate with parents about activities; escalate issues to Director.
• Monitor cleanliness and safety; report maintenance needs.
• Train new attendants on procedures and safety; track certifications.
