Job summary

Rite of Passage Team in Bryant, Arkansas is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to support the daily operations of the HR Department at AJATC, a secure residential program for at‑risk youth.

You will assist with new hire processing, employee records, HR documentation, confidentiality, and customer service to employees, applicants, supervisors, and visitors. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm; pay is $17 per hour with benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year experience in an office environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and Google Docs.
• Able to pass a criminal background check, drug, TB and physical tests.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the HR Department.
• Assist with new hire processing, employee records and HR documentation; maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
• Follow up on missing documentation and verifications for new hires; assist with personnel and medical files.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to employees, applicants, supervisors and visitors.
