Job summary

Rite of Passage is hiring a Direct Juvenile Support Worker at AJATC in Bryant, AR to ensure safety and support for youth. The role involves mentoring youth, addressing daily needs, and supporting education and activities in a secure residential program.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or better and the ability to pass background and health screenings. Competitive benefits and a $1,000 training bonus are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Bonus: prior experience is a plus but not required.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug test, TB test.
• Must pass child/adult abuse registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide around-the-clock safety and security for youth.
• Attend to physical, personal and health needs through mentoring and skill-building.
• Monitor and document behaviors and activities of youth.
• Engage youth in educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with staff to meet each youth’s treatment plan and promote teamwork.
