Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Group Supervisor for the Day Shift at AJATC in Bryant, Arkansas. You will mentor Direct Juvenile Support Workers and supervise Coach Counselors, ensuring schedules, safety, and high standards of care.

The role requires at least 1 year with at-risk youth, supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license. A 4-on/3-off schedule supports a stable work-life balance within our secure residential facility.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision to Direct Juvenile Support Workers.
• Directly supervise Coach Counselors and Night Coach Counselors while on units, in Education, and other ROP activities.
• Ensure staff and students adhere to facility and daily schedules, including punctuality.
• Maintain proper staff-to-student ratios for coverage.
• Make critical and sound decisions during emergencies and conduct group intervention crisis sessions.
