Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• Minimum two years prior related experience required.
• Minimum one-year prior related experience providing community based services, youth and children programs.
• Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write English and Spanish professionally.
• Requires CPR, First Aid and specialized activity training.

Responsibilities

• Discuss needs of children and youth with Family Coach; bring empowerment resources via local agencies and volunteers.
• Assist youth and children in accessing on-site programs and community services; guide eligibility and expectations.
• Develop and manage a system to coordinate on-site and off-site programs; aid communication among sponsors and collaborators.
• Assist with leadership development opportunities for children and youth; support enrollments and school registrations.
• Develop relationships with institutions providing education and living skills; guide community assessments and program implementation.
• Assess needs of youth; research and recruit programs addressing identified needs.
• Coordinate events at the Family Hope Center (sports camps, youth leadership, camps, VBS) and lead empowerment events.
• Organize and coordinate a comprehensive children and youth program with area schools.
• Maintain a master calendar of volunteer and campus activities; notify staff of events and projects.
• Coordinate acquisition and distribution of in-kind donations; document donations and write thank-you notes.
