Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum two years prior related experience.
• Minimum one-year prior related experience providing community-based services, youth and children programs.
• Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write English and Spanish professionally.
• Requires willingness to take CPR, First Aid and specialized activity training.

Responsibilities

• Discuss needs of children and youth with Family Coach and connect families to empowerment resources and local agencies.
• Assist youth and children in accessing on-site programs and other community services; accommodate varied levels of comprehension for eligibility.
• Develop and manage a system to coordinate on-site and off-site programs and aid communication among sponsors/collaborators.
• Assist with leadership and development opportunities, including enrollments and school enrollment support.
• Develop relationships with institutions and agencies providing education, living skills, and child development programs; collaborate with community organizations for program implementation.
• Assess needs of youth and children and recruit local programs addressing identified needs.
• Coordinate regular events at the Family Hope Center, including sports camps, youth leadership activities, and vacation Bible schools.
• Organize and coordinate a comprehensive children and youth program with area schools.
• Maintain a master calendar of volunteer and campus activities; distribute notices of activities.
• Coordinate acquisition and distribution of in-kind donations and write thank-you notes.
