Piedmont Family YMCA in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Director of Youth Development to lead all youth programs, including Summer Camp, After School, and Out-of-School Camps. You will supervise five full-time Multi-Site Directors and several part-time staff, with an 8:30AM–5:30PM schedule plus evenings/weekends as needed.

You will foster community partnerships, ensure safety and licensing compliance, manage budgets, and participate in fundraising activities.

Formación

• At least 21 years old.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in licensed child care or camp programming.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, and developing volunteers and staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and evaluates licensed school-aged child care and camp programs.
• Oversees recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of Youth Development staff.
• Manages program budget and ensures alignment with fiscal objectives.
• Builds collaborative relationships with community organizations and volunteers.
