Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH seeks a Program Director to lead after‑school and summer programs, ensuring high‑quality youth experiences and strong staff support.

You will oversee program planning, safety standards, and outcome evaluation while coordinating with a diverse team of professionals across multiple sites. This full‑time, non‑exempt role emphasizes mentorship and organizational impact across New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (GED/HiSet/TASC).
• Associate degree in child development, education, recreation, or related field preferred.
• Certified recreation director plus 1000 hours experience also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead program delivery for youth development outcomes, ensuring alignment with mission.
• Train and support staff and volunteers to deliver high‑quality youth experiences.
• Maintain health, safety, and well‑lit, well‑ventilated program areas.
• Evaluate programs, track outcomes, and adapt activities to meet member needs.
• Increase member engagement and participation in activities.
• Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to staff and volunteers.
