Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking a dedicated Program Director to oversee school-age programs and summer camps across a large service area. You will help plan, develop, and implement diverse programs supporting youth development, safety, and positive outcomes for members.

The role requires coordinating staff, volunteers, and program activities, with emphasis on compliance, documentation, and effective communication with families and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related child-care qualification.
• Minimum 2,000 hours of experience working with children.
• Possible certifications such as Para II educator or equivalent in education/child development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administration of designated programs and activities aligned with youth development goals.
• Develop program goals and settings to ensure health and safety and staff communication of standards.
• Oversee day-to-day program activities, ensuring licensing requirements are met.
• Empower members through instruction and feedback to build skills.
• Supervise volunteers and staff, provide feedback and development opportunities.
