Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire seeks a Program Director to lead after-school and summer camp programs in Lisbon, NH. You will oversee program delivery, mentor a team, and ensure high-quality experiences for youth in a safe, inclusive environment.

This full-time, non-exempt role includes tuition reimbursement, career development plans, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a mission-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 20 with a high school diploma or GED or HiSET or TASC.
• One of: associate degree in a related field.
• Or certification as recreation director with 1000 hours of relevant experience.
• Or 12 credits in child development plus 1000 hours of experience.
• Or current DOE educator certification; or 2000 hours with para II certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements program plans aligned with youth development goals.
• Ensures staff and volunteers are trained to deliver high-quality youth experiences.
• Maintains safe, healthy, well-ventilated and well-lit program areas.
• Tracks program outcomes and adapts activities for gender and cultural diversity.
• Increases member engagement and participation in activities.
• Provides coaching and feedback to staff and volunteers.
• Oversees planning of special programs and events.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree in child development/education/recreation

1000 hours of experience with children

Current educator certification or related credentials
