Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking a Program Director to oversee school-age programs and summer camps. You will help plan, develop, and implement diverse programs ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with organizational goals.

This role involves supervising staff, monitoring outcomes, and managing program budgets. The position emphasizes leadership, compliance with licensing, and active engagement with youth and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET/TASC).
• Experience totaling 2000 hours with children or a related field is required.
• Preference for an associate’s degree in child development, education, recreation, or similar.
• Current certification as an educator or related credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administration of designated programs and activities to support Youth Development Outcomes.
• Develop program goals and settings to ensure health, safety, and cleanliness.
• Oversee day-to-day program activities per Boys & Girls Club standards and licensing requirements.
• Provide instruction and feedback to develop members' skills across activities.
• Demonstrate leadership to ensure proper conduct, safety, and development of members.
• Establish and maintain program goals, track outcomes, and manage budgets.
• Supervise volunteers and staff with ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
• Maintain records and weekly reporting of activities, attendance, and achievements.
• Support posting of schedules and announcements through various channels.
