Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire seeks a Program Director to oversee school-age programs, summer camp, and youth development initiatives across our wide service area. You will help plan, develop, and implement programs to meet community needs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, budgeting, staff supervision, and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; GED/HiSET/TASC accepted.
• Associate’s degree in child development, education, or recreation preferred.
• Minimum 2000 hours of childcare experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates administration of designated programs and activities to support Youth Development Outcomes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develops program goals and settings to ensure health and safety of members, and communicates standards to staff.
• Oversees day-to-day program activities in accordance with Boys & Girls Club standards and licensing requirements.
• Empowers members by providing instruction and constructive feedback to develop skills.
• Demonstrates leadership to ensure proper conduct, safety, and development of members.
