Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago is seeking a Program Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement youth programs for members aged 5–12, supporting outcomes in academics, health, and citizenship.

You will prepare lesson plans, monitor program quality and safety, and assist in recruiting members to reach goals while engaging in regular staff collaboration and event support. The role is based at our Chicago location.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least three years of experience working with youth ages 5–18.
• Knowledge of youth development and safety best practices.
• CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement youth programs and evaluate outcomes.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly lesson plans for ages 5–12.
• Recruit and engage members to meet program goals.
• Monitor programs for safety, quality, and club appearance.
• Lead in the Program Director's absence and participate in staff meetings.
• Coordinate special events and support club administrative tasks.
