Job summary

Exalt seeks a dynamic Program Coordinator to advance youth trajectories away from the criminal justice system. The PC will manage each participant’s journey from interview to goal attainment, coordinating with teachers, courts, and internship sites across New York City.

The role requires flexible in-person and remote work within a hybrid model. Based in downtown Manhattan, you will oversee multiple cycles annually, sustain engagement with external partners, and drive educational outcomes while

Qualifications

• PC manages youths' entire process from interview to program completion.
• Flexible to work in-office in Manhattan and remotely via virtual model.

Responsibilities

• Interview, assess and select youth referred to exalt through assessments.
• Manage 3 cycles per fiscal year.
• Develop growth plans based on participants' progress.
• Screen participants for ATI contract services with Court Liaison.
• Collaborate with teachers to increase participation and link learning to outcomes.
• Meet with participants to track IPPs and progress.
• Maintain communication with lawyers, probation officers, judges and other staff.
• Develop internships across New York City to match youths' interests.
• Support school re-enrollment and educational goals.
