Placements24 is seeking a vibrant Youth Program Coordinator to lead and grow programs empowering young people in East London. You will design engaging activities, mentor participants, and partner with schools, families, and community organizations to meet local needs.

You will recruit and supervise staff and volunteers, monitor progress, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment. The role offers a collaborative team, professional development, and a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with youth in program development or coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in curriculum development and activity planning for young people.
• Passion for youth empowerment and understanding of local needs in East London.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage engaging youth programs and activities.
• Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers working with youth.
