Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a CYP Assistant to work full-time with children and youth, keeping them engaged, well-cared for, and safe within the CYP environment. The role focuses on social development, healthy choices, self-help and school readiness, and exploration of surroundings.

The position involves implementing curriculum, supervising activities, communicating with parents, and ensuring adherence to DoD policies and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children and youth in daily activities.
• Maintain safety and ensure compliance with DoD and local policies.
• Communicate with parents and staff about child progress and program activities.
• Assist in curriculum planning and activity implementation.
• Assist in program evaluation and compliance with accreditation requirements.
