Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a CYP Assistant to engage children and youth, support development in social and self-help skills, and ensure safety during activities. The role involves implementing planned activities, maintaining materials, and collaborating with parents and staff.

You will help with schedule planning, indoor/outdoor environment setup, and positive guidance using approved youth development practices, while ensuring program compliance with DoD

Qualifications

• Evidence of clear communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and activity plans aligned with curriculum and needs.
• Prepare and maintain indoor and outdoor activity environments.
• Supervise children and youth with safety and program adherence.
• Engage with parents and staff to communicate progress and issues.
• Support compliance with DoD and local policies and accreditation standards.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
