Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a part-time Children's Program Aide for the Family Hope Center Program. You will support daily operations of after-school, summer, field trips, tutoring, and Saturday activities, serving as a positive role model and ensuring a supervised, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include helping with homework, activities, transportation as needed, and participating in CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Ability to read, write, and speak English professionally.
CPR and First Aid certifications required; training will be provided as needed.
Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible to be insured under Buckner's policy; age 21+ to drive.
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties that require standing or walking.

Responsibilities

Create a growth-oriented, inclusive environment for children.
Assist with daily operations of after-school, summer, field trips, tutoring and Saturday activities.
Support youth with homework, arts and crafts, and recreational activities.
Provide safe transportation for children in Buckner vehicles when required.
Attend meetings and in-service trainings, including CPR/First Aid.
Report special needs or concerns to the supervisor.
