Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services Community: Family Hope Center Program seeks a part-time Children's Program Aide to support daily operations of children programs, including summer programs, after-school activities, field trips, tutoring programs and Saturday activities. You will be a positive role model, guiding and supervising with a nurturing, structured environment.

Responsibilities include facilitating activities, assisting with homework and crafts, transporting children when required,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CPR and First Aid certifications required; training provided.
Ability to read, write, and speak English professionally.
Valid driver's license and ability to transport children when needed.

Responsibilities

Provide a growth-producing environment that supports self-confidence and respect.
Participate in character development, service learning and daily activities.
Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, and staff.
Report any special needs or issues to the supervisor.
Follow daily plans including recreation, responsibility, and spirituality.
Assist with homework, arts and crafts, and recreation activities.
Provide safe transportation for children in Buckner vehicles as required.
Attend meetings and in-service trainings including CPR/First Aid.
