Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services is seeking a part-time Children's Program Aide for the Family Hope Center Program. You will assist in daily operations of children programs, including after-school and summer activities, field trips, tutoring, and weekend activities, while modeling positive behavior.

Responsibilities include supervising children, supporting program activities, and ensuring a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English professionally.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required; training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a growth-oriented environment that supports the physical, emotional, spiritual, and academic growth of children.
• Participate in character development and service learning activities with youth.
• Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, guests, and coworkers.
• Report any special needs or problems to supervisor.
• Support daily plans with recreation, responsibility, and spirituality.
• Adapt programs as directed to meet needs of children.
• Assist youth with homework, arts, crafts, and recreation activities.
• Provide safe transportation for children in Buckner vehicles as required.
• Attend meetings and in-service training, including CPR/First Aid.
