Job summary

Buckner Children's program seeks a part-time Children's Program Aide for the Family Hope Center Program in Fort Worth, TX. You will support daily operations of children's activities, including tutoring, summer and after-school programs, field trips, and weekend activities.

The role emphasizes safe, nurturing supervision, assisting with program activities, and serving as a positive role model for youth. CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to read, write, and speak English professionally.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications; training as required.
Must be able to drive assigned or personal vehicle with valid license; provide proof of liability insurance.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, age-appropriate environment that fosters growth and personal expression.
Participate in youth development and service-learning activities.
Maintain a positive, respectful attitude toward children, families, and coworkers.
Report any special needs or problems to the supervisor.
Follow a daily plan including recreation, responsibility and spirituality.
Be flexible to implement program changes as directed.
Assist with homework, arts and crafts, and recreation activities.
Provide safe transportation for children as needed.
Attend meetings and in-service trainings, including CPR/First Aid.
