- The University of Wisconsin-Stout, Educational Pathways & Outreach Department, invites qualified candidates to apply for our Youth Program Manager position.
- The individual selected for this position serves as a liaison between the Education Pathways and Outreach Department and the Academic Colleges to support successful expansion of polytechnic programming geared primarily to youth audiences.
- This individual manages STEAM camps and other pre-college programs; plans, facilitates, and evaluates related events.
- Assists in the development of policy and procedures, performs management activities, and serves as a liaison for faculty, staff, and client audiences to develop, implement, and administer youth program activities with a goal of increasing diversified student pipeline activities and fosters 12-month campus programming.
- This position reports to the Associate Director of Continuing Education & Conferences.
- Responsibilities include developing, expanding, and maintaining collaborative STEAM camps and other pre-college programming initiatives, managing program administration activities, promoting partnerships, supervising staff, advising leadership, supporting credit-based initiatives, and utilizing tools for improvement.

Minimum/Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in education or related area.
- Understanding of youth needs or experience working with youth.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience developing educational outreach programs or project management skills.
- Highly desired: Master’s degree, teaching experience, camp counseling, First Aid/CPR, budget management, AI tools, commitment to inclusion, problem-solving skills.
