Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent PC skills with demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Package (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and the internet.
Training and public speaking skills.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s or doctoral degree in an allied health or other pediatric development-related field, e.g., speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, or similar.
National certification of clinical competence or similar certification related to the professional field (e.g., Certified Clinically Competent in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP).
Currently licensed as an occupational therapist, speech therapist, or physical therapist in the state of Arkansas.
5 years of experience in the areas of early childhood development, pediatric disorders, and intervention strategies.
2-3 years of experience supervising or teaching adult learners.

Responsibilities:
Provides expert guidance and recommendations to mental health consultants, early childhood providers, and families to support children with developmental disabilities in educational and childcare settings. Consultation will primarily be about developmental disability in young children, birth to five, who may be at risk of suspension and/or expulsion from a childcare or early education program.
Conducts environmental assessments, provides recommendations, offers resources, and consults with team members. If children have been identified as having symptoms of a developmental disability, the LINK Program Manager will work with the referring team members to identify gaps in services or potential support needs.
Adheres to program privacy and confidentiality standards and demonstrates ethical behavior and cultural sensitivity in all activities involving individuals of diverse backgrounds. The position must become familiar with the program implementation manual and adhere to the policies and procedures
Participates in training modules, regularly scheduled statewide meetings, supervisory meetings, and observations.
Works collaboratively with community agencies. This will include providing training on topics regarding early childhood and developmental disabilities through workshops, community presentations, and consultant training opportunities.
Provides required paperwork and reports, including weekly logs of project-related activities within the required timeframe outlined in the project protocol.
Performs other duties as assigned.
