Job summary

Think Together in Corona, CA is seeking a Substitute Program Leader for the part-time role. You will work across multiple sites, mentoring students, providing homework help, and leading activities from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

You will collaborate with site coordinators, teachers, and volunteers to ensure safety and a positive, engaging learning environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, ability to pass Live Scan and TB tests, and availability at least 5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children; ability to inspire.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 48 sem or 60 quarter college units required.
• Ability to speak and write standard English.
• Available at least 5 days a week.
• Live Scan and TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using provided materials.
• Create an engaging environment fostering belonging.
• Support students in positive behavior choices; enforce disciplinary measures when needed.
• Engage children by following and creating lesson plans.
• Ensure student safety through setup, breakdown and site cleanliness.
• Maintain safety by taking roll and reviewing sign-ins.
