Job summary

Arc Experience in Southern California is seeking a Program Leader to guide students after school with SEL, homework help, and enrichment activities. You will greet students, organize clubs, and supervise safe, engaging activities daily.

The role is part-time, non-exempt, with afternoon shifts from 2pm to 6pm and strong communication with families. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; Covid vaccination may be required where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Good communication with kids and parents.
• College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units completed or a proficiency exam.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of the school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, games, arts and crafts, and projects.
• Lead indoor/outdoor enrichment activities and create clubs (e.g., career readiness, cooking, arts).
• Maintain a safe environment following safety protocols and monitor student behavior.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students and encourage participation across diverse needs.
