Job summary

Educational Data Systems, Inc. (EDSI) is seeking a Youth Program Manager in the United States to lead Out-of-School youth programs, improve operations, and guide staff to deliver excellent customer service under contract requirements.

The role includes overseeing case files, providing GED and career exploration instruction, coordinating job placement, and ensuring compliance with funder expectations. A bachelor’s degree and management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
• At least three years of professional experience, including one year of management or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, Human Services or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to ensure efficient customer flow, service delivery and data management.
• Oversee participants’ case management files and adherence to contract regulations.
• Provide GED Preparation, Job Search Skills, Life Skills, and Career Exploration activities as needed.
• Administer assessments and compile data.
• Facilitate group learning and workshops with creativity and innovation.
• Support GED attainment across Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.
• Provide one-on-one and group tutoring.
• Facilitate job placement services and timely funder communications.
• Analyze performance and draft quarterly team goals.
• Develop continuous improvement processes and program documentation.
• Other opportunities and policy recommendations as applicable.
