Job summary

The Spring Of Tampa Bay Inc. seeks a dedicated Youth Advocate Supervisor to guide interns and volunteers while delivering psychoeducational and prevention programs for teens.

Responsibilities include facilitating school-based groups, coordinating community trainings, and representing the agency at events in the Tampa area. Ideal candidates will have a behavioral science degree and 2+ years in domestic violence work, plus public speaking and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with concentration in behavioral sciences and a minimum of two years of practical experience in domestic violence preferred.
• Experience working with youth preferred.
• Public speaking experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Prevention Team activities delivering DCF prevention milestones.
• Facilitate 8 weeks of prevention programming for youth in middle or high school settings.
• Facilitate bi-weekly Youth Action Committee groups.
• Attend DCF webinars/conference calls as required.
• Facilitate the LGBTQ roundtable.
• Conduct community trainings on teen dating violence and domestic violence.
• Represent the agency at community events.
