Job summary

Bay State Community Services Inc. is seeking a Youth Advocate Supervisor to lead a dedicated team of Youth Advocates providing direct support, mentorship, and advocacy for youths facing social, emotional, educational, or behavioral challenges.

The role emphasizes high-quality service delivery, staff development, and adherence to program standards, with a schedule of Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 2p-12a, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• The desire to work with youth.
• Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience working with youth (12-18) in a residential/group care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support a team of Youth Advocates through regular check-ins.
• Provide crisis support and guidance to staff when complex youth situations arise.
• Mentor, engage and ensure the safety of youth in the program.
• Uphold trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and youth-centered approaches in all aspects of the program.
