Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Supervising Youth Advocate to oversee interns and volunteers within the Peace in Action program, focusing on teen dating violence prevention and youth support in School and community settings.

You will facilitate psychoeducational groups, coordinate with schools and community partners, and provide training and outreach. Bachelor's in behavioral sciences and at least two years in related work are preferred; supervision experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field with at least two years of experience in domestic violence or youth services.
• Experience public speaking and delivering trainings preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience with interns or volunteers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Youth Advocate, interns and volunteers and coordinate team activities.
• Facilitate 8-week prevention programming for middle/high school youth twice yearly.
• Conduct community trainings on teen dating violence and domestic violence.
• Represent agency at community events and collaborate with schools and youth services.
